KAMLOOPS — Details remain limited but Kamloops RCMP have swarmed NorKam Secondary School for an unspecified theat.
In a brief statement issued Thursday (Nov. 6), the Kamloops-Thompson School District says the building has been locked down and they’re asking people to stay away at this time.
“The RCMP have initiated a lockdown at NorKam Secondary School,” SD73 Director of Communications Chelsea Isenor told CFJC. “More details will be provided when available.”
CJFC has a reporter at the scene and we’ve also reached out to Kamloops RCMP for information about the situation.
