Two staff critically injured after being hit by car outside hospital in Sydney’s Inner West

Two pedestrians have been seriously injured after being hit by a car outside a hospital in Sydney’s Inner West.
At around 10 am, emergency services responded to reports that two people had been struck by a vehicle outside the entrance of Concord Hospital on Hospital Road in Concord.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 47-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Concord Hospital for mandatory testing. (Nine)
They have both been identified as employees at the hospital.
The woman was taken to Westmead Hospital and the man to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Both are listed in a critical condition.
Police have been informed that a 59-year-old woman driving a Mazda CX5 mounted the footpath and hit the pair.
She was taken to Concord Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and will be examined by police.
