Pokimane has called out a fellow content creator for flirting with her and trying to meet up for coffee, only to later post about his engagement on Instagram.
In a video shared to TikTok, the Twitch streamer explained that the man had been messaging her and asking to meet in person. She said she had no idea he was in a relationship until she saw the engagement announcement on social media.
“We met on set for a YouTube video, we followed each other on Instagram, and he would respond to my IG stories, I would respond to his, very casual stuff,” Pokimane explained.

“He kept inviting me to fly out to his state, but I don’t do that, so I was like, ‘If you’re ever in LA, we can grab coffee. He ended up having a trip to LA, he asked for my number, we were going to meet up, but I ended up being busy, he ended up leaving town early, so it didn’t happen.

“No joke, a month after we were going to meet up, he posts his engagement on Instagram.”

After learning he was engaged, Pokimane decided to reach out to his fiancée directly. She showed the woman their private messages to be transparent about what had happened.
According to Pokimane, the fiancée confirmed that the man’s behavior wasn’t acceptable in their relationship, but made it clear she didn’t blame Pokimane since she hadn’t known about the engagement.
“He gave you no indication that he was in a relationship, so I really don’t blame you,” the fiancée said.

Pokimane didn’t name the creator or share any screenshots publicly.
