The UK’s biggest pop party is making its return to the O2 Arena this December, as Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball with Barclaycard promises another weekend of chart-topping performances and unabashed Christmas sparkle.
Taking place on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December, the event will once again transform the 20,000-capacity London venue into a winter pop spectacular.
The station’s breakfast hosts Jordan North, Chris Stark and Siân Welby will announce this year’s line-up live on Capital Breakfast on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 November from 7am – with organisers hinting at “huge names, massive surprises and more festive sparkle than ever.”
“The UK’s biggest Christmas party is back and this year’s line-up is next level,” said North. “We can’t wait to tell you who’s playing – it’s going to be huge.”
Over nearly two decades, Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball has become the unofficial start of the UK’s pop Christmas season, drawing artists from both sides of the Atlantic. Past performers have included Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Little Mix and Stormzy, with the event known for quickfire sets, surprise collaborations and arena-scale production.
Fans can attend in person or stream the show live via Global Player and YouTube, while a highlights programme will air later in December on ITV1, STV, STV Player and ITVX, continuing Global’s broadcast partnership with the network.
Listeners signed up to Global Player with a Global iD will get exclusive presale access from 9am on Thursday 6 November, while Barclaycard customers can access an additional early presale via Barclaycard Entertainment, with 10% off when paying with a Barclaycard or Barclays Premier Card (terms apply).
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 7 November, exclusively through Global Player, the official Capital app.
