‘Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Is Pushing Back on Emma’s Defense of Blake—and She’s Got Receipts

- Selling Sunset stars Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause continue to feud over Emma’s boyfriend, Blake Davis.
- In a new interview, Emma defended Blake from accusations that he said pronouns were “dumb” in reference to Chrishell’s parter, G Flip.
- Chrishell responded on Instagram, rebutting Emma’s version of events and sharing offensive social media posts allegedly from Blake.
If you’ve been keeping up with The O Group in between seasons of Netflix’s Selling Sunset, then you already know that former BFFs Emma Hernan and Chrishell Stause have been feuding for quite a while now about Emma’s boyfriend, Blake Davis. In the wake of Blake’s Selling Sunset debut, Emma defended Blake in a new interview, prompting Chrishell to call her out for “inflaming the hate” against her partner G Flip. Here’s what you need to know.
While season 9 of Selling Sunset ended with Emma saying that she had broken up with Blake because he was too controlling and jealous, the two have since reconciled. Now, Emma is fully ready to take their relationship public, which means she’s talking about him in the press—even if it costs her a friendship.

“It was one of those things where I really was holding on to a friendship with Chrishell and worried about what other people thought. It came to a point where I was like, ‘This is the person that I care about,’” Emma explained in a recent interview with Us Weekly.
In that same interview, Emma also took the opportunity to defend her boyfriend and respond to Chrishell’s claim that Blake told her “pronouns are dumb” (which is something she wrote in Instagram comments back in May).
“He did not say that pronouns were dumb. He would never say that,” Emma said, insisting that Blake mistakenly referred to G Flip as Chrishell’s “wife” instead of her partner. “I told him and I explained it, and it was the first time he was learning about it and he was trying to be good.” (This matches Blake’s initial statement on the matter.)
Just hours after Emma’s interview with Us Weekly went live, Chrishell reposted it on Instagram, denying Emma’s account and adding some pretty pointed commentary. “This is NOT what was said. But good job Emma inflaming the hate for my partner and their preferred pronoun use,” Chrishell wrote in part. She continued, saying that she never gets mad if someone mistakes G Flip’s pronouns—“I gently correct and we move on,” she wrote.
Chrishell then said that she would wait until the Selling Sunset season 9 reunion airs before saying anything more on the subject, instead turning her fans’ attention to Blake’s social media posts. “Since filming the reunion his own very hateful posts on his IG story against LGBTQ community speak volumes on who to believe here,” she wrote.

She followed up her message with another IG Story about Blake. “But sure, believe this man if you want,” she wrote over one of Blake’s TikTok videos. “The internet will look for a way to fill its narrative about you so I’m excited to be done with all of this very soon.”
In the video (which has seemingly since been deleted), Blake pretends to force Emma to give him a blow job, with the written prompt “When your girl asks what’s for dinner.” Lovely.

She then shared apparent screenshots from his Instagram Stories. In one, Blake wonders why Matel made a “fat Barbie,” in another, he celebrates the “Gulf of America.” According to Chrishell’s screenshots, Blake has also shared memes about Charlie Kirk’s assassin and his “trans boyfriend.”
In perhaps the most shocking post, Blake seemingly shared a poll about Chrishell, asking whether he should “sue the bitch for lying her dick off about me,” with—as Chrishell notes—a “gun handle and Kevlar” seemingly included in the frame.

It’s worth noting that if—as Chrishell claims—@blakedavis98 is Blake’s real TikTok account, then he has also reposted a video from The Daily Mail on Trump’s order that federal employees remove pronouns from their emails.
The Selling Sunset season 9 reunion premieres on Wednesday, November 5.
