Voters across central Ohio turned out Nov. 4 to cast ballots for city councils, school boards and more, as well as to weigh in on bond levies, charter amendments and more.
The Dispatch covered the biggest races of the night, including the contest for a Columbus City Council seat and for three positions on the Columbus City school board, where the Franklin County Democratic Party’s preferred candidates appeared to claim victory.
Democrats also fared well in South Western City Schools, where the three party-endorsed candidates notched victory in a contentious race.
School funding issues on the ballot fared well, including a $235 million bond issue that Olentangy Schools sought to build new schools.
