‘Multiple fatality’ crash shuts down Rt 11 in Franklin County: PennDOT

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Multiple deaths were reported after a crash between a tractor-trailer and a car on Route 11 in Greene Township Wednesday morning, a spokesperson for PennDOT announced.
The wreck was reported in the 6500 block of Molly Pitcher Highway around 6:30 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers.
PennDOT said the road is closed in both directions as crews respond; it’s unknown how long the road closure will last. Live traffic conditions can be found on PennDOT’s 511PA.
Pennsylvania State Police and West End Fire and Rescue crews are on scene.
