Bronx car explosion: At least 5 firefighters injured in NYC, FDNY officials say

THE BRONX, New York (WABC) — At least five firefighters injured during a reported car explosion in the Bronx on Wednesday, according to officials.
The FDNY says firefighters responded to a call of reported car explosion around 7 p.m. at 955 Westchester Ave., Intervale Avenue and Kelly Street.
Cell phone video captured the massive flames from a distance.
Officials say five firefighters were injured.
They were taken to Jacobi Hospital, where they are being treated for burns of varying severity, according to a source from the FDNY.
