Final Injury Report for Thunder-Trail Blazers, Will Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams Play?

The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Portland Trail Blazers on the second night of a back-to-back.
Oklahoma City enters Wednesday’s game as the last undefeated team in the NBA as they have won their first eight games, including one on Tuesday night on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Clippers, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way for the Thunder as he recorded 30 points, four rebounds and 12 assists while Isaiah Joe added 22 points and three rebounds of his own off the bench.
Now the Thunder will look to keep their undefeated streak alive to begin the season as they travel to take on a tough Trail Blazers team.
On the other side, Portland enters Wednesday’s contest with a 4-3 record after losing to the Los Angeles Lakers at home on Monday.

Deni Avdija led the way for the Trail Blazers in Monday’s loss as he ended the game with 33 points and six rebounds while Shaedon Sharpe recorded 23 points and seven assists.
While both teams are looking for a key victory in Wednesday’s Western Conference showdown, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
Thunder Injury Report, Will Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams Play?
For the Thunder, they enter Wednesday’s game with seven players on their injury report, including both Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams.

Oklahoma City has ruled out Holmgren due to a back sprain while Williams remains sidelined due to recovery from offseason wrist surgery.
The Thunder have also ruled out Lu Dort due to a shoulder contusion and Alex Caruso will also be sidelined on Wednesday due to rest.

Kenrich Williams, Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber have also been ruled out as they continue to be sidelined to begin the season.
The good news for the Thunder is that Jaylin Williams will be available after leaving Tuesday’s game after he was elbowed in the face and he could play a large role with Holmgren sidelined.

Trail Blazers Injury Report, Will Shaedon Sharpe Play?
On the other side, the Trail Blazers have five players listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.

Portland has listed Sharpe as probable for Wednesday’s matchup due to left calf soreness and he is expected to play.
The Trail Blazers have also ruled out Scoot Henderson, Damian Lillard, Matisse Thybulle and Blake Wesley.
