Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t mind filming nude scenes, but she said absolutely ‘no’ to THIS

Jennifer Lawrence is more than comfortable stripping down for her art, but there’s one thing she refuses to do.

During a recent screening of her new film “Die My Love,” the “Hunger Games” alum explained that filming nude scenes no longer bothers her, saying she’s “not sensitive” about baring all.

“I don’t care about nudity,” Jennifer told the audience, as seen in a video captured by Vulture. “I wanted [director] Lynne [Ramsay] to have total freedom artistically.”

But even though she’s fine showing her body on screen, Lawrence drew the line when post-production teams offered to digitally retouch her. That, she made clear, was a hard no.

“I remember them sending over a close-up of cellulite being like, ‘Do you want us to touch this up?’” she recalled. “And I was like, ‘No. That’s an ass.’”

For the Oscar winner, who shares two kids with husband Cooke Maroney, that decision reflected her growing sense of body confidence. In fact, she credited pregnancy during filming for helping her let go of any “vanity anxiety.”

“I remember before ‘No Hard Feelings,’ I was dieting and not eating carbs and working out,” Jennifer said, comparing it to her current project. “I was pregnant. What was I gonna do? Like, not eat? I was working 15 hours a day. I was just tired.”

The 35-year-old actress admitted the experience “felt really freeing,” especially alongside co-star Robert Pattinson.

Still, her comfort with nudity wasn’t always so effortless. Reflecting on her first nude role in 2018’s “Red Sparrow,” Lawrence once said the idea “really scared the hell out of me.” But now, she’s owning her body on her terms, and saying “no” to anyone who tries to edit that authenticity.
