Shivam Dube showcased his muscle power, hitting a towering six on Adam Zampa’s delivery that went out of the ground and briefly stopped the play as umpires asked the fourth official to bring a replacement ball. Zampa was taken aback by Dube’s hit while Shubman Gill praised his team-mate.

Team India’s vice-captain Gill added 56 runs for the first wicket with Abhishek Sharma, who managed 28 runs off 21 balls. Sharma hit 3 boundaries and 1 six before he couldn’t time Zampa’s ball and was caught by Tim David.
Dube was promoted to face the spinners, and he sent the second ball of the 11th over out of the ground. However, he didn’t last long and was dismissed by Nathan Ellis, whose variations put the batter into a lot of trouble. The southpaw managed 22 runs off 18 deliveries, with the help of 1 four and 1 six.
