UK Met Office Signals Drier Conditions Ahead

Changeable and at times unsettled weather is expected across Ireland into mid-November as low pressure dominates much of the UK and Ireland, according to the UK Met Office.
Western areas are likely to see the wettest conditions at first, with showery rain and patches of overnight fog that could be slow to clear.
From around Tuesday 11 November, drier conditions are likely to develop as winds turn south easterly or easterly. Any rain is expected to be more confined to eastern areas, with temperatures close to the seasonal average.
Looking further ahead into late November, the Met Office says there is an increased chance of high pressure bringing more settled weather. This could bring clearer skies, overnight frost and fog, though periods of rain and showers, particularly in western regions, remain possible. Temperatures are most likely to be near or above average, with occasional colder spells during longer settled periods.
Overall, Ireland can expect a gradual move towards more settled and drier conditions in the second half of November.
