Shelbourne fans can have their say on where €50,000 will be spent on upgrading their famous Tolka Park stadium.

The Reds supporters fought a long battle to keep the club at their Drumcondra home, rather than ground-share with League of Ireland rivals Bohemians at a redeveloped Dalymount Park.

And now, thanks to their sponsors Chadwicks, who have extended their partnership by a further two years, the Shels faithful can decide where €50,000 will be spent on upgrades to the Richmond Road ground.

Chadwicks renovated the home dressing room earlier this year and they are looking for ideas on what to work on ahead of next season.

Fans can choose from:

  • Family Zone – The development of a new family zone – a relaxed child-friendly space with refreshments, in the soon-to-be open family stand.
  • Tolka Park Turnstiles and Entrances: Improvement to the turnstile areas and supporter entrances into Tolka Park to enhance the fan experience on arrival to the grounds.

What they said:

Ken Broughman, Managing Director Chadwicks: “We’re very happy to extend our partnership with Shelbourne FC for another two years, in what is a very exciting period for the club. Both sides worked really well together in year one, and we were delighted to bring value to the partnership with the upgrade of the home dressing rooms in Tolka Park.

“For 2026, we’re putting the power in the hands of the Shels fans. By voting in the Fan’s Choice poll, Shelbourne supporters can choose the upgrades we make to the fan experience at Tolka Park.”

Tomás Quinn, CEO Shelbourne Football Club: “Chadwicks have been a fantastic partner for the club and we are delighted to renew our partnership with them for a further two years which will not only see investment in the club but also them listening to our fans to make improvements that will make their experience in Tolka Park even better.”
