But if there’s one thing I think we’re all going to be left with after the series ends, it’s got to be Celia Imrie’s fart.
During the third episode, the veteran British actress released wind at a tense point in the game, leaving fellow contestants and fans in hysterics.
“What just happened?” presenter Claudia Winkleman demanded.
“I just farted, Claudia. It’s nerves, but I always own up,” responded Imrie, sparking howls of laughter.
Kate Garraway summed it up later when she told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “It was so loud! How could somebody so elegant, so petite, so gracious, let off that huge sound?”
“And it was so nerve-racking in a serious moment. It was my favourite, favourite moment in that cabin.”
One X user said it was “the TV highlight of the year”, while another said we’d “peaked as a nation”.
