Emmerdale fans reckon April Windsor could be set for an emotional exit, 11 years after her first appearance.
It’s fair to say April (Amelia Flanagan) has had a dramatic few months in the Dales. Currently, she is trapped in the dangerous world of grooming, crime and drug dealing, along with Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle).
At first, it was just Dylan working for dangerous Ray (Joe Absolom). However, soon enough, April was lured in and took on jobs for Ray after he decided she could be useful.
What’s more, in a shocking twist, it was revealed that not only was Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) in charge of the whole operation and but she was also Ray’s adoptive mother.

Things then took a shocking turn this week, when Ray and Celia forced April to meet up with one of their clients, Callum (Max Lohan) who paid them in exchange for sex with the teenager.
After drinking excessive amounts of alcohol, April decided she couldn’t go through with it. But when predatory Callum refused to take no for an answer he attempted to force himself on April.
She ended up killing Callum
Having to fight for her life, April panicked and smacked Callum across the head with a bottle of vodka, seeming to kill him. A shaken April told Ray and Celia what happened and Celia ordered Ray to dispose of the body.
With April convinced there is no escape after taking a life she suggested going to the police, but Ray issued a stern threat, pulling out a gun to intimidate her.
And now, with the truth rarely staying buried in soapland, fans can’t help but think an exit could be on the cards for April in a shock prison twist.
Fans reckon she is set for a prison exit
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “If the truth comes out about April killing that guy surely she’ll be sent to prison? Can’t see how she’ll get away with it eventually.”
Someone else added: “I thought this as well. Poor April.” A third chimed in: “Probably get sent away for a couple of months like Belle and then come back!” referring to when teen Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) was sentenced to a few months in youth custody in 2014 after being found guilty of manslaughter.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
