The 39-year-old will compete alongside a host of famous faces to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
Matt, otherwise known as Legend on BBC’s Gladiators, surprised fans with the announcement on Instagram.
“What’s the quickest anyone’s ever been fired on The Apprentice? Asking for a friend,” he joked on his @mattdoesfitness page.
The fitness influencer will swap the gym for the boardroom as he puts his business skills to the test in front of Lord Sugar and his aides.
He joins an all-star lineup including Judge Rinder, EastEnders actor Jake Wood and Paralympic gold medallist Kadeena Cox.

Together, the celebrities will head to Lapland, where they’ll be tasked with creating and marketing their own festive gingerbread biscuits.
In a first for the show, Apprentice fans will even be able to buy the creations in supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco from November 14.
Lord Sugar said: “It’s added some real pressure to the process.
“I think the celebs thought they were in for an easy ride, but they were wrong! Raising money for BBC Children in Need is serious business, so the candidates really need to deliver if they want to avoid ending up on my naughty list.”
Matt, who boasts more than five million followers across his social platforms, shot to fame with his entertaining fitness content before joining the reboot of Gladiators last year.

Before his rise online, he worked as a PE teacher at Folkestone Academy, but left the role to pursue content creation full-time.
It’s been a whirlwind year for the father-of-two, who previously told fans about a freak injury sustained during filming for Gladiators – an ordeal he described as the “worst three weeks” of his life.
Despite the setback, the Kent star is now back to full strength and ready for his next challenge.
The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials will air later this year on BBC One and iPlayer.
