Kamloops teens struck by vehicle on way to school after stepping off city bus

A pair of teenagers were taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Kamloops this morning.
According to police, who remain at the scene, the students were hit while crossing Kenora Street near Norkam Secondary School around 8:30 am.
“The students got off a city bus and proceeded behind the bus to cross the street when they were struck,” explained Cpl. Dana Napier through a media release.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators and police have indicated that the students’ injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
The RCMP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or those with relevant dash cam footage from the area, to contact the Kamloops detachment at 250-828-3000.
