Big day for Star Trek
LEGO is the biggest toy brand in the world with a long history of tie-ins to major franchises, especially Star Wars. But until now, there has never been an official Star Trek set, so it’s a nice way to start celebrating the 60th anniversary a little early. When the collaboration was announced in September on Star Trek Day, the release stated: “The LEGO Group and “Star Trek” have strong shared values of imagination, exploration and building a better tomorrow, making this an ideal partnership for fans of all ages.”
As of now, there is no confirmed news on what could come next for Star Trek and LEGO, but hopefully more sets will follow.
In case you missed it, the Star Trek Day announcement included this fun little teaser video.
