Apparently the players get two breakfasts 🍳🍳

If you’re as utterly obsessed with The Traitors (and its boujier cousin Celebrity Traitors) as we are here at heat, then you’ll know the sleepless nights that come with trying to decode every sneaky production secret (to be fair, that’s us with most of the reality shows we obsess over).
Ever since the first series stormed our screens and hijacked group chats back in 2023, we’ve been absolutely feral for behind-the-scenes Traitors gossip. But of course, those sly BBC producers are tighter-lipped than a roundtable finalist (very on brand).
Luckily for us, a few ex-Faithfuls and Traitors have been more than happy to spill the tea on their experiences on the – or in series two legend Diane Carson’s case, pop the fizzy rose and spill the fizz.

ICYMI, almost two years on from finding faming in the Scottish castle, Diane (of iconic, ‘but Ross is’ fame) is now hosting her own podcast called Spill the Fizz with London drag queen, Beary Poppins (it’s a camp must, btw); and for series two, the dynamic duo arereviewing Celebrity Traitors episodes, and while doing so, reliving Diane’s time in the castle.
In this week’s episode, Diane and Beary are joined by Traitors series 3 queen, Lisa Coupland (aka Lisa the Priest) and in a conversation about the show’s tense AF breakfast scenes, the Faithful legends revealed a juicy (lol, ’cause breakfast) secret – and honestly, it just makes us want to take part in the show more than ever, ’cause come on, TWO BREAKFASTS? Allow us to explain. Actually, allow Diane to explain…
Speaking about breakfast, Diane revealed, ‘I thought the catering was excellent. Breakfast was slightly hit and miss depending on what time you came down, because it could be a little bit cold and, to be fair, they didn’t really want you to be stuffing your face at breakfast because they wanted to be filming you chatting.’

The legendary Faithful, continued, ‘But you had breakfast in your hotel room anyway. I don’t eat first thing so I wanted to eat at the table and it was fine, I honestly enjoyed the food. Coffee and tea definitely cold in the morning.’
Speaking about breakfast on her season, Lisa added, ‘At breakfast, we didn’t have anything hot. It was all sort of like cheese, cold meats, smoked salmon, toast etc.’
Beary then added, ‘Travelodge continental?’ LOL. To which Lisa agreed.
To be fair, given the intensity of some of those missions (🐴 👀) they need the energy.
