Avengers: Doomsday Trailer May Drop With Release of Avatar: Fire and Ash

The first trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday will reportedly debut this December.
Collider says it “has learned from multiple sources that the first footage from the MCU’s next big team-up film is scheduled to be attached to the latest installment of one of Disney’s other blockbuster franchises, Avatar: Fire and Ash.”
As Collider points out, that could change between now and when Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters on December 19, 2025. Avengers: Doomsday opens almost exactly a year later on December 18, 2026.
Disney had not yet responded to IGN’s request for comment as of the time this article was published.
Avengers: Doomsday wrapped filming in September. Hard facts about the movie’s plot remain scarce although we know the movie will bring together the Avengers, Fantastic Four and the original movie X-Men for the first time on the big screen.
A bevy of actors who have appeared in past Marvel projects – including Brie Larson, Famke Janssen, Elizabeth Olsen, Charlie Cox, Andrew Garfield, Halle Berry, and Chris Evans – have all played coy or flat-out denied that they’ll reprise their respective characters in Doomsday.
Channing Tatum, who returns as Gambit, recently said Avengers: Doomsday will include moments 50 times bigger than when Wesley Snipes’ Blade turned up in Deadpool & Wolverine.
Fans recently got their look at 28 Doomsday characters in costume via an image posted to social media by a production member.
Prior to that, Disney revealed the first look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom through promotional artwork and videos featured at the Walt Disney Marketing Expo in Shanghai.
