Celebrity Traitors star and singer Cat Burns is set to perform during the Halloween week on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 25 year old, known for her hit song ‘Go’ and UK top 10 album ‘Early Twenties’, will grace the BBC One show on Sunday night, ahead of a tense dance-off between two couples.
Burns, who is currently a contestant on the celebrity version of The Traitors, a BBC One show where a group of traitors meet in secret to “murder” the faithfuls in a bid to win a charity prize pot, will have her music accompanied by a performance from professional dancers Amy Dowden and Carlos Gu, who are set to attend The Monsters’ Ball.
Sunday’s group dance photos reveal a shift from the usual Strictly glitz and glamour, replaced with fog and gothic gowns as the professionals transform into half skeletons, half humans.
In addition, the celebrity couples will undergo a spooky-themed makeover for their Saturday night routines. Actress Alex Kingston and Johannes Radebe are set to perform a Salsa to ‘Horny’ by Hot ‘n’ Juicy and Mousse T, while West End star Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin will dance a Viennese Waltz to ‘I See Red’ by Everybody Loves An Outlaw.
Actress Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon will take on a Samba to ‘Stay’ by Shakespears Sister, while model Ellie Goldstein and Vito Coppola will Tango to Lady Gaga’s ‘Abracadabra’.
Saturday’s line-up will feature a Cha Cha by YouTuber George Clarke and Alexis Warr to Charli XCX’s Apple, as well as an American Smooth by Olympian Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Karen Hauer set to Mystical Magical by Benson Boone.
Ex-footballer Karen Carney and Carlos Gu are set to perform an Argentine Tango to Red Right Hand by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, while drag sensation La Voix and Aljaz Skorjanec will take on a Paso Doble to the tune of Beethoven’s 5th symphony.
In addition, former Emmerdale star Lewis Cope and Katya James will present a couple’s choice dance to Radiohead’s Creep, with reality TV personality Vicky Pattison and Kai Widdrington performing an American Smooth to Total Eclipse Of The Heart by Bonnie Tyler.
This follows the departure of ex-Chelsea footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who became the fourth celebrity to exit Strictly Come Dancing alongside partner Lauren Oakley after losing out in the dance-off to Davies and Kumin.
Strictly Come Dancing is set to return on Saturday at 6:35pm and Sunday at 7:15pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
