The Wizards kick off the 2025-26 campaign against the new look Milwaukee Bucks. While Giannis Antetokounmpo still remains the focal point of the roster, there are some new faces to support him, which includes former Indiana Pacers Center Myles Turner.
Just the size of both Turner and Antetokounmpo, along with former Wizards Kyle Kuzma, will present problems for the Wizards in this one.
For the Wizards, they will be without one of their best defenders, Bilal Coulibaly, who is still recovering from surgery on his thumb. Much of the rest of the team is expected to be available. This game, and much of the season, will be about the growth of their young players. Will Alex Sarr make strides on both ends? Can Kyshawn George continue his ascension as being one of the key players on this roster? If Cam Whitmore is able to play, will he be able to make an impact?
We will get our first look at this young core against the Bucks. This should be a good test to see how much growth has taken place this off-season.
