Zarine Khan Cause Of Death: Sussane Khan’s Mother, Sunjay Khan’s Wife Passes Away, Here’s What Is Known So Far
Veteran Hindi film actor and filmmaker Sunjay Khan’s wife, Zarine Khan, has left for her heavenly abode. She reportedly breathed her last at the age of 81, on Thursday, November 6, 2025. According to a report by India Today, Khan had been keeping unwell for the some time now, due to age-related issues. The news has come as a shock to the film industry, who are currently rushing to be with the grieving family. The family has asked for privacy in this sad time.
For those who don’t know, before tying the knot with Sunjay Khan in 1966, when he was 25 and she was 20, she had a flourishing career in Hindi cinema. She made appearances in films like Tere Ghar Ke Saamne and Ek Phool Do Mali. Reportedly, Zarine and Khan met at a bus stop, by chance, for the first time. From then their relationship continued blossoming through the years. They are proud parents to four kids- Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and actor Zayed Khan.

It was in July this year, that the entire family had gotten together to celebrate her 81st birthday. Sharing her heartfelt wishes to her mother, Sussanne Khan had captioned her Instagram post, “‘Mama Mia… ‘🎵🎵My My.. what an amazing Mama you are… 🦋🙌🏻🎈Happiest happy birthday my gorgeous beautiful mommy.. all that I do and All that I create in my Life has to do with the way you formed my heart, my mind n my grit.. Zarine Khan had once made the headlines when she had addressed Zeenat Aman’s claims about her alleged affair with Sunjay Khan. During a chat with Simi Garewal, many years ago, on her show, quoted by Hindustan Times, she had said, “I knew my husband, maybe he did falter a bit, but then again being an actor’s wife you have got to have that much of patience and the strength and the conviction to know that he is gonna come back to you. The children were too young to know what was going on. I assure you that was not the first woman to have fallen for him, there were lots of women, but he was always mine.”
