Jack Johnson Books North American Tour, Shares “Hold on to the Light” with Hermanos Gutiérrez
Chill guy singer-songwriter Jack Johnson has announced a sprawling North American tour that will take him across the US — and up to Toronto — throughout next year.
The SURFILMUSIC Tour begins next June in Gilford, NH. Johnson will be joined by Latin instrumental outfit Hermanos Gutiérrez for the majority of dates, and they’ll will head north for a single Canadian show at Toronto’s newly named RBC Amphitheatre (f.k.a. Budweiser Stage) on June 30. Lake Street Drive and G. Love will also join Johnson on select dates.
In conjunction with the tour announcement, Johnson and Hermanos Gutiérrez have released the new single “Hold on to the Light” together, which you can listen to here. The track is a first taste of the forthcoming SURFILMUSIC soundtrack, a new documentary chronicling Johnson’s career. The film was scored by Johnson and Hermanos Gutiérrez, and is set to arrive next year. More details have yet to be announced.
