The Manchester Christmas Market’s have officially opened for 2025, which means that the city centre is now dotted with the much-loved wooden huts, and visitors are flocking to try this year’s selection of festive treats.

From Friday, 7 November until Monday, 22 December those heading to the city will be experience the biggest and best Manchester Christmas Markets yet.

The main markets sites opened today (Friday, November 7) and will run through to Monday, December 22. But both Albert Square and Cathedral Gardens, which hosts this year’s Skate Manchester ice rink, will stay open up until January 4 this year.

There will be over 200 stalls across ten sites, including a reopened section of Albert Square. It’s here that visitors will find ‘A Taste of Christmas’: a festive ‘mini market’ selling food, drinks and crafts.

The square will be home to a huge Ferris wheel, giving breathtaking views of Manchester’s Town Hall.

It joins nine other locations across the city including Piccadilly Gardens, Market Street, Cathedral Gardens, St Ann’s Square, Exchange Square, New Cathedral Street, Exchange Street, New Cathedral Street, Exchange Square, King Street and The Corn Exchange.

Whilst there will of course be a range of unique and niche things to find throughout the ten different sites, there will be a few things you can always rely on at the Manchester Christmas Markets.

We’re talking bratwurst sausages, mulled wine, Glühwein, hot chocolate and beer – staples that you have to cross off your list in paying a visit.

There will also be some new cuisines and treats to try including loaded hash browns, bitesize French toast, jerk chicken, Korean hotdogs, Japanese style BBQ chicken and hot chocolate filled croissants.

To help you on your way around the 2025 Christmas Markets, we’ve rounded up the price lists for a number of the stalls when it comes to what’s on offer across all ten sites.

It’s worth noting that prices are subject to change and menus may vary throughout the next few weeks, and we’ll be updating the guide throughout the day as prices become available.
