Spanish pop artist Rosalía is already receiving rave reviews for her new album Lux – and it’s not even out yet. The album, releasing on Nov. 7, combines symphonic sounds, opera music and singing in 13 different languages.
Rosalía is no stranger to creating sounds unlike anyone else. A decade ago, she burst onto the scene by combining flamenco music with pop, hip-hop and R&B.
Today on Commotion, host Elamin Abdelmahmoud speaks with music journalist Reanna Cruz to review Lux and why she believe’s it’s Rosalía’s “magnus opum.”
