A film crew paid a visit to Woodstock Gardens in rural Kilkenny yesterday (Wednesday) to film a segment ahead of this year’s Late Late Toy Show on RTÉ.
“We would once again like to apologise for any inconvenience caused due to yesterday’s closure of the Woodstock Gardens and Arboretum,” a spokesperson said.

“Filming took place on site all day yesterday for the 2025 RTÉ Late Late Show’s Children’s Christmas Appeal that will be aired on this year’s Late Late Christmas Toy Show.
“We were delighted that Woodstock Gardens was chosen to promote this wonderful cause.

The much beloved Irish family tradition of the Late Late Toy Show will be live on television on December 5, 2025 – hosted by Patrick Kielty.
