Fairfax County PD said they responded to a call with EMS regarding a male found unconscious, and when they found West he was breathing.

West, who played eight seasons for four teams in the NBA, made bond and was released from police custody.

It is unclear if he will face any charges in the incident.

It comes a year after Fairfax County PD arrested West for trespassing in Huntington and hit with a misdemeanour charge.

Last June, West was arrested after fleeing police as they attempted to serve a warrant after he was accused of violating conditions of release and resisting arrest.

Police found West unresponsive and he was administered Narcan for a suspected opioid overdose. He was later charged with resisting arrest.

West was in 2022 filmed in a viral video begging for money on the side of a highway and days later he was seen loitering in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven.

The confronting video showed West holding up a sign written on cardboard before he shakes hands with a man inside a vehicle.

West gave rare public comments in 2022, insisting he was OK.

“It is what it is,” West told The Image Direct at the time.

“I got children. I’m in between jobs. People can help me as much as they can, but you know, as a man I gotta do what I gotta do for my babies,” added West, who has two sons.

West, the 24th overall pick by the Celtics in the 2004 NBA Draft, has publicly dealt with mental health struggles, substance abuse and bipolar disorder.

He had a string of arrests following his playing career.

West made $16 million during an NBA career where he averaged 9.7 points and 3.6 assists per game. He also played for the Cavaliers, SuperSonics and Mavericks.
