Advisory: Frost possible in Arlington early Friday

A Frost Advisory was just issued for Arlington.

The advisory will take effect early Friday. Forecasters say near-freezing temperatures could lead to frost that can damage sensitive plants.

…FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 8 AM EST FRIDAY…

* WHAT…Temperatures as low as 33 will result in frost formation.

* WHERE…Portions of DC, central, northeast, northern, and southern Maryland, and central and northern Virginia.

* WHEN…From 1 AM to 8 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
