Player Ratings: Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United (Premier League)

Manchester United are winning 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur at half-time in their Premier League clash in North London.

After a strong start to the game, Manchester United had to defend against Tottenham Hotspur’s attack and several important defensive actions were needed.

But as always, there were chances coming United’s way too and the best one fell to Bryan Mbeumo inside the box and he headed in to give the visitors the lead.

Ruben Amorim will be aware that his team cannot sit on a one-goal lead and will have to find a way to add to their tally in the second half.

The United player ratings so far can be read below.

United player ratings vs Spurs

Senne Lammens – 5/10

One dodgy moment right at the beginning of the game. Hasn’t really been tested since then.

Matthijs de Ligt – 8/10

Moved over to the right but still performing strongly. His aggression in that role is key.

Harry Maguire – 7/10

A solid display so far back in the side.

Luke Shaw – 7/10

Looking confident. Some good interceptions.

Noussair Mazraoui – 6/10

Started slowly but grew into the game, linking up well on the right. You can still tell he’s had a stop-start season with injuries.

Casemiro – 7/10

Some good passes and defending well.

Bruno Fernandes – 5/10

A few misplaced passes.

Patrick Dorgu – 6/10

Not too involved. One good cross caused problems for Spurs.

Bryan Mbeumo – 8/10

A brilliant header to open the scoring, solid display so far.

Amad – 8/10

Unlocked the Spurs defence with a great cross to Mbeumo for the opener.

Matheus Cunha – 6/10

Came close with a chance early on and linking well.
