2025 GRAND FINALE: FERRARI CLINCHES CHAMPIONSHIP TOP 3, FINELLO FOURTEENTH IN THE FINAL STANDINGS

8 November 2025

MATTEO FERRARI #11

“It was a bit of a peculiar day: I was expecting to battle for something more in both race one and two, but it was a bit challenging, especially in the first encounter in which I struggled to get up to speed. Then we improved the bike a bit for race two and I gave everything I had. I’m still quite happy with the final championship position, a third place which stems from my 110% effort in each session and, for this, I’d like to thank the team: seven years in which we’ve been the most consistent. Today a small tear drops: I’d like to thank from the bottom of my heart Nadia, Luca, Beppe and all the guys who have been with me throughout all these seasons, they have been a family for me even in the most challenging times, which are the ones where those close to you make a difference. Now it’s a new chapter for me, but a piece of my heart will always be here.”

ALESSIO FINELLO #72

“Unfortunately today I couldn’t find the right feeling to perform. It was a tough season for me, where I really learn a lot: an incredible experience, with the team on my side, who never stopped believing in me and in our work, helping me and giving me great support. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to ride well and this is not the result I wanted to wrap up the weekend with, but I’m still happy: we showed ourselves in mixed conditions and we proved that the capabilities are there. Last MotoE round: it was an incredible journey, and to have done so with a team like Gresini for four consecutive years was an honour and a privilege. My past, my history, was different from the other riders’, but they still believed, choosing to give me the chance to get to the world stage despite my background. I can only give a huge thank you to Nadia, Luca, Beppe, Carlo, Michele, Ilenia and the whole team, for turning my dreams into reality, a tangible one. We’ve grown together up to get to the point of believing to be close to the podium: a team who welcomed me and became day after day my family, made of many incredible people who taught me a lot, and I will bring these teachings with me for ever. THANK YOU!”
