ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) – Officials have identified the man who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon in St. Joseph County as 72-year-old Edward Dunne of South Bend.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Cleveland Road just west of Swanson Drive.
According to police, Dunne was heading east in his car when he crossed the center line and collided with a westbound pickup truck.
Police say Dunne died at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck, a 51-year-old Mishawaka man, was taken to the hospital.
The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is handling the investigation.
