BRISBANE will be out to stake its claim as a bona fide Grand Final contender when it faces Melbourne in a qualifying final at Ikon Park on Sunday afternoon.
The two sides met just two weeks ago in round 11, with the Lions overwhelming the Demons late.

A healthy percentage has held the Demons in good stead, seeing them finish second on the ladder and earning hosting rights for this qualifying final against the third-finishing Lions.
The Dees have been dealt a huge blow in Maeve Chaplin missing through a hamstring injury, while the Lions have been further bolstered by the return of captain Bre Koenen after a few weeks out with a hamstring injury.
A spot in the preliminary finals is on the line, with the winner earning a week off and the loser facing a date with the winner of the Adelaide-St Kilda elimination final.
After giving up a home final with an unimpressive loss last week, St Kilda will be out with a point to prove in its first ever AFLW final when it faces Adelaide at Norwood Oval on Sunday afternoon.
While far from the imposing Crows of previous seasons, Adelaide has plenty of finals experience and still presents an enormous challenge to the Saints.

The injury-hit Saints have been boosted by the return of midfielder Liv Vesely, defender Paige Trudgeon and winger Nicola Barr after the latter two were late outs last week.
