Match Report:  Sydney FC arrived in Adelaide seeking to build off an entertaining 2-2 draw against Melbourne City last weekend.

A long first half of back and forth saw both teams standing defensively resolute, as they were both able to nullify the attacking threat of their opponents.

For Sydney FC Millie Cassar had a good chance fashioned by Galic while Ayson headed one off the line and the Sky Blues went into the tunnels at 0-0.

It was much the same in the second half with the back and forward continuing as both sides exchanged glancing blows but could not find the crucial pass or finish.

In the end the Sky Blues’ defence held out through commendable determination and the game ended 0-0 for the first time ever since this fixture was first played in 2008, with a key point secured.
