Let’s talk more about number one overall pick, Cooper Flagg.
As of recording, 14.4 points per game, converting 44% of his twos, 29% of his threes, has not missed the free throw yet.
What he’s able to do at his size just on a baseline is impressive to me.
69, 6’10, you should.
Couldn’t have this good of a handle.
They’re going with this Cooper Flagg at quote unquote point guard experience.
If he can handle this, that is obviously a positive.
But the fact that he can handle some of this on-ball usage, like that versatility pops, and he reads the floor pretty darn well for a guy his age.

And so like that baseline.
It’s a big reason why he went number one.
And then you add the actual skill on top of that.
But like he, I, I do love that he just has the body for this.
Yeah.
And I, and I think it’s one of those moments where hopefully going forward, it feels better as far as when he knows he has a shot, when he knows he needs to drive to engage the defense and make a play that way, and just finding the rhythm there because uh he’s got the knowledge, he’s got the vision.
I also want to say that the defense has held up.
I feel like that has kind of flown under the radar to a degree.
I’ve just liked what he does defensively.

He’s got size.
He can keep the ball in front, and I, I, I do feel like he deserves a tip of the cap there.
I think he has certainly been like rookie good.
I think for me, I’m trying to decide how much of this is, he is a rookie trying to figure things out versus, this is a tough matchup that he has tonight versus this is the roster context when you also sprinkle in like 80’s missed time and lively missed time and Gafford’s back now, but Gafford also missed time.
So like it hasn’t been super clean all the time for him, but I also don’t know how much of this is his fault.
