A MAN has died in a “medical emergency” at a gym despite bystanders “best efforts” to save him with CPR.
Emergency Services were called to JD Gyms in Shrewsbury at 2.40 pm on Wednesday following reports of an emergency.

The man was found to be in a critical condition and bystanders had attempted CPR.
Tragically paramedics could not save the patient and he died at the scene.
A spokesperson for the ambulance staff said: “The ambulance staff immediately administered life support but sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene.”
West Mercia Police said it will not be launching an investigation into the man’s death.
The BBC approached JD Gyms for comment.
