Nacho Novo has secured his first managerial appointment, it was announced this afternoon..
The Rangers legend is the new Darvel FC manager after recently coaching at West of Scotland Premier side Drumchapel.
The club said they were ‘delighted’ to appoint the former Ibrox striker who netted 47 times across 179 appearances for the light blues.
The club posted on X: “Darvel FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Nacho Novo as the club’s new first team manager.
“Nacho brings a wealth of experience and a passion for developing talented players, and we look forward to working together as we continue to build for the future. Welcome to Darvel FC, Nacho!”
Former Darvel boss Michael Oliver left the club almost a month ago with captain Ross Barbour, vice captain Conor McGlinchey and U20s manager Ali Calder tasked with taking interim charge at the Ayrshire side.
