It’s Tez Johnson time in Tampa Bay.
With a depleted wide receiver room, the rookie pass catcher has taken on a larger and larger role for the Buccaneers of late.
Week 10 will be no different with Chris Godwin and Mike Evans sidelined once again, putting Johnson in an important position against the upstart Patriots in one of the best games of the weekend.
Over his past four games, Johnson is averaging 51.25 receiving yards per game, and he’s flashed some serious big play ability.
The Oregon product has three 20-plus yard catches over that stretch, including a massive 45-yard touchdown against the 49ers last month.
Sunday’s game looks to be a shootout as well.
The Patriots have averaged 29.5 points over their last six games.

New England’s run defense has been, by far, the best in the league, allowing 75.4 yards on the ground per game, which is more than 10 yards fewer than the rest of the NFL.

Betting on the NFL?
Coming off a bye week, Johnson may just now be getting comfortable in the Bucs’ offense.
Look for the rookie to have a breakout game on Sunday.
The play: Tez Johnson to have more than 43.5 receiving yards (-110, DraftKings Sportsbook)
