Is Garrett Wilson playing today? Latest on Jets WR vs Browns

NFL Week 10 picks: Consider Eagles, Bears and Browns on Sunday

Somehow it’s already Week 10 of the NFL season. If you’re looking for help making your picks, watch and see why Lorenzo likes the Browns, Bears and Eagles.

Garrett Wilson has been living life on the sidelines. Now he’s ready to get back into the game.

A key member of the New York Jets, Wilson has been sidelined since Week 6 with a hyperextended knee that he suffered in London against the Denver Broncos. After missing the last two games, Wilson also had the bye week for some much-needed rest before the stretch run.

New York has taken on a new look in Wilson’s absence, swinging some deals at the trade deadline that saw some familiar faces depart.

Now the green-and-white get ready to return to action, with arguably the face of the franchise hoping to do the same.

Here’s the latest on Wilson ahead of Week 10.

Wilson is active and will play in Week 10.

The receiver had missed the Jets’ previous two games before their bye week with a hyperextended knee. He returned to practice coming out of the bye, logging a pair of limited sessions before being upgraded to a full participant on the final day of practice.

It always felt like the likely return spot for Wilson, who notably avoided injured reserve – which would’ve knocked him out for at least four games. Wilson does step into a new-look receiver room after the trade deadline, however.

New York added Adonai Mitchell and John Metchie III during their deadline shakeup, which would give Wilson a lot more support in the passing game that solely relied on him before the knee injury.

Jets WR depth chart

Tanner Engstrand has some more pieces to work with after the midseason deals, but Wilson is still the headliner in what is an unproven room overall.

Mitchell and Metchie should have plenty of opportunity to play though, potentially giving the Jets some pieces that could be of use next season and beyond.
