Pop star HRVY has announced he’s back on the market after splitting from Emmerdale’s Mimi Slinger.
The 26-year-old singer reached the final of BBC competition Strictly Come Dancing back in 2020 with professional partner Janette Manrara.
He had been dating ex-Emmerdale star Mimi Slinger, who played Leanna Cavanagh in the ITV soap for four years before being killed off in 2021.
HRVY, real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell, recently took to TikTok to seemingly confirm their break up.
The short clip shows the media personality appearing to be deep in thought as he nods and gives a thumbs up to the camera. He captioned it: “I’m now single… I blame that Vogue article.”

The Vogue article in question, titled Is Having A Boyfriend Embarrassing Now?, was published at the end of last month and highlighted changes in “the way people showcase their relationships online”.
HRVY and Mimi’s reps have been contacted for a comment. The couple started dating in 2021 after meeting at the National Television Awards.
Previously, the singer had expressed how convenient it was that they both worked in the entertainment industry, as it meant they got “to see each other all the time”.

“We get to see each other all the time,” he told The Sun. “It’s a nice balance and because we’re both in the industry we both understand, so it’s easy.” HRVY dropped his debut single, Thank You, in 2013, when he was just 14.
He subsequently supported major acts including Little Mix and Conor Maynard, whilst also featuring on numerous CBBC programmes such as Friday Download and Chicken Girls.
In 2020, he competed on BBC’s Strictly with Janette and they he made it to the final and came second, behind winners Oti Mabuse and Bill Bailey.

He was Janette’s final celebrity partner before she departed from the programme to host Strictly spin-off show It Take Two.
Actress Mimi, 22, joined Emmerdale as Leanna in 2018 and departed in 2021 and has since appeared in a short film titled Path to Ecstasy and featuring in an episode of Masters Of The Air.
Her Emmerdale storylines featured a turbulent romance with Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) and conflict with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) but Leanna met a tragic end when she was killed by serial killer Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu).
