49ers starting LB suffers first-quarter injury vs. Rams in Week 10

The San Francisco 49ers are thin at linebacker after losing Fred Warner to a torn ACL a few weeks ago, and they may have just taken another hit at the position.
In the first quarter of San Francisco’s Week 10 battle with the Los Angeles Rams, linebacker Tatum Bethune stayed down after Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford hit wide receiver Davante Adams for a 23-yard gain.
Bethune eventually made his way off the field and to the sideline, where he went right into the blue medical tent. The team has yet to announce the nature of the injury.
If Bethune can’t go, the 49ers will have Dee Winters and Curtis Robinson as their top two linebackers, with Luke Gifford and Nick Martin filling in as depth.
UPDATE: Bethune returned to action on the next drive.
