A customer got into a heated exchange at a Michigan McDonald’s restaurant, and video shows her throwing hot coffee at the manager.
Buena Vista police posted the video on Facebook on Nov. 4 and asked for the public’s help identifying the customer. They said Thursday, Nov. 6, that she has been identified.
“Thank you for all the quick responses,” the post now says. “We have the suspect identified.”
In the video, a customer is seen clearly arguing with a manager at the counter of the McDonald’s.
“I’m glad I’m calling corporate,” the customer says at one point.
“Refunds will take up to 48 hours,” the manager says at one point.
While it’s not exactly clear when or why the two were arguing, the video shows the woman throw her hot coffee at the manager. It appeared they were discussing something about a transaction issue.
