UP, Bihar Schools to Remain Closed for Assembly Elections and Ganga Snan Mela 2025, check details here
Many schools in UP and Bihar will remain closed due to the elections. Students can check the full holiday schedule here.
To ensure safety, smooth poll operations and also manage the large crowds, the Bihar government, in coordination with the Election Commission of India, has decreed that schools and colleges in 17 districts will not operate on the day of voting for Phase 1 of the assembly elections. Schools in Uttar Pradesh will also remain closed from 3–6 November due to arrangements linked to the Ganga Snan fair.
