Delhi Red Fort explosion live updates: 1 dead, 4 injured after explosion outside Lal Quila metro station; high alert in Delhi

The incident happened near Delhi’s Red Fort.

Delhi Red Fort explosion live: At least eight people have been killed and several others injured after an explosion was reported near Red Fort. A high alert has been sounded in Delhi.  Around seven fire tenders were pressed into action.

Where did the blast take place: The blast reportedly took place in a car outside the Lal Quila (Red Fort) metro station in a car on Monday evening. The nature of the explosion is not known yet.

Delhi Police at site: A team of Delhi Police Special Cell Officers is at the site and the area has been cordoned off.
