Veteran actor Dharmendra has been admitted to Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. His wife, actor-politician, Hema Malini shared an update on his health on social media.
Her X post read, “I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored, and we are all with him. (folded hand emoji) I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery.”

The 89-year-old’s team told India Today that while the Bollywood icon is admitted to the hospital, he is stable. A statement from his team read, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”
Earlier during the day, the actor’s team released another statement mentioning that there was nothing to worry about. “They requested privacy at this time. He’s under observation, but there’s nothing to worry about,” the team said. Actor Salman Khan had also visited the hospital amid the reports of the veteran’s health concerns.
Earlier in October 2025, he was admitted to the same hospital for a routine medical check-up. “He undergoes a series of tests periodically given his age, and is in the hospital for the same. Someone may have spotted him and created a news piece. He is absolutely fine and there’s nothing to be worried about,” the team told us.
Dharmendra, who turns 90 this December, continues to stay active on screen. The veteran actor will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming biographical war drama ‘Ikkis’, co-starring Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is slated for a theatrical release in December 2025.
