Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley has become the second celebrity to land in Australia ahead of I’m A Celebrity, declaring: “I am a Dingle I can cope with anything, I’m from the north…we are made of tough skin.”

The 49-year-old arrived at Brisbane Airport before the ITV programme begins next Sunday.

She continued: “We did Dingles Down Under many years so and I feel it’s only right we do it again.”

Lisa insisted she was prepared for any insects or creatures, explaining: “I’ve worked on a farm and it’s part of the job.”

Model and presenter Kelly Brook had touched down earlier in the day, beaming with excitement, reports the Mirror.

She quipped: “I haven’t seen my auntie Sheila for a long time so I can’t wait to see her, and I’m so excited that you’re all so excited for me.”

When questioned about her feelings towards bugs and spiders, Kelly suggested there might be some at her “relative’s” property and remarked: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’m visiting a distant cousin.

“I’m looking forward to surfing. Like I said, I’m looking forward to seeing my distant cousin that I’ve not seen for a long, long time… the koalas and the kangaroos. So much to look forward to.”

They are anticipated to be accompanied by stand-up comedian Eddie Kadi, hip-hop artist Aitch, and television host Vogue Williams.

ITV is poised to officially reveal the line-up next week. However, two participants will be absent from the initial announcement, as they’re anticipated to arrive in the jungle as late entries.

Ant and Dec are back to present the popular programme, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

An insider connected to the production said: “Producers are expected to pull out the stops to ensure the 25th series is the most memorable yet.”
