First look at I’m A Celeb line-up in their jungle gear as they pose for official snaps

I’M A Celebrity have finally released the official pictures of this year’s cast as they’re suited and muddy-booted up for their time in the jungle.

This year’s contestants are set to face the grisly bushtucker trials, tough living conditions, and the most stomach-churning thing of all: the communal dunny.

With Ant and Dec there to lend a helping hand as they deal with the chaos the jungle throws at the group, the team have been armed with hiking boots, and the signature red trousers and gilets to keep them warm.

Blue t-shirts and camo-coloured shirts complete everyone’s looks.

Here’s the full cast in their get-up, what they have to say about taking on I’m A Celebrity, and why they think they can do it.

JUNGLE READY

Aitch arrives in Australia for I’m A Celeb and reveals what he’ll miss most

“They have asked me to be in it numerous times before – but now I’ve finally said ‘yes’. The reason is I’m going to be 50 next year, it’s thirty years on and off playing Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale and ten years of being sober,” she said.

“It’s like a big baguette where everything I wanted was in it! And it’s I’m A Celebrity’s 25th series anniversary too.”

“Forget the NTAs and BAFTAs, the fact I’m going in the jungle means I am hopefully the best auntie in the world to my nephews, Jakey and Joshua, and niece, Everlyn,” she added.

“I can forever say to them I tackled the jungle head on. It’s going to be ace.”

Ruby Wax

Ruby has said she’s keeping her interviewer skills at the door when it comes to getting to know people in the jungle.

“I am most looking forward to mingling and finding out about everyone. I do it naturally. I won’t be interviewing, because I hope they ask me questions,” she said.

“There is nothing more boring than someone who doesn’t ask you anything!”

She’s also promised she’s ready for when she has to tackle the jungle waterfall/shower.

“I have been working out, as I don’t want to show my body the way it is. But I know you can wear a bra and pants. I have a sensational bra!”

Shona has been preparing herself before going into the jungle – though the results of her efforts were mixed.

“I have been enjoying myself before I go in. I have been stocking up on all my carbs and trying to eat as much as I can,” she said.

“But once in the camp, it will be a chance to shed a few pounds and detox from all the pickled onion Monster Munch I eat!

“I also tried to get in a hammock as practice. I tied a bed sheet to my gazebo! It wasn’t good!”

Kelly Brook

Despite asserting she’d never do the show, Kelly has been talked around to becoming an I’m A Celebrity campmate.

“I didn’t think it was ever in me to do the challenges and Bushtucker Trials,” she said. “But since I have been with my husband, we have done a few things that I’ve surprised myself by.

“We did Race Across the World and I ran the London marathon this year – two things I never thought I had in me.”

“I’m such a fan of the show that I thought, ‘Maybe I could do it, maybe I could cope.’ I won’t know unless I try and so I am going to throw myself into it.”

According to Kelly, her biggest fear is escalators – which hopefully there won’t be too many of in the jungle (though with those pesky trials, you never know….)

Jack Osbourne

Jack, a self-professed adrenaline junkie, has tackled on several TV challenges before, including the US version of SAS: Who Dares Wins.

However, joining the camp so soon after his dad Ozzy’s death may present a new challenge, as well as now being a father himself.

“It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind. I have got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure,” he said.

“It’s not the longest amount of time I’ve been away from them. I’ve gone on different trips filming Adrenaline Junkie for nearly two months without a phone, but I still had access to one and I was able to make calls home.

“It’s going to be very difficult not speaking to my wife and kids. But yes, I do hope I can make my family proud.”

Alex Scott

Former Lioness Alex Scott is hoping that her time on the football squad will set her up for victory – just like her former teammate, Jill Scott.

However she’s admitted having worries ahead of the series.

“At first I kept over thinking about what everybody else would think, but this is an amazing opportunity to test myself,” she said.

“I am super competitive – but with myself and not other people. I don’t want to let my team mates down. I don’t want to make myself look stupid, even if I do have fears.

“I will just throw myself into it, but I hope as I was team captain and had to keep the peace, that my leadership qualities will come out (in the jungle)”.

Aitch

Aitch is no stranger to a challenge, but that doesn’t mean he’s ready for what the series has in store for him.

“I have climbed Kilimanjaro before for six days and I have slept out in the tents,” he explains. “That kind of stuff is the least of my worries.

“The hardest part for me will be sitting around doing nothing. I don’t remember the last time I sat and did nothing.”

He’s also ready for a strict new dietary regime. “Rice and beans? I am not going to lie, I have been trying to put myself on a diet for the last two years – so it will probably do me some favours!”

Eddie Kadi

Eddie is known best as a comedian – but there’s one thing in the camp he’ll find no laughing matter.

“Anything to do with creepy crawlies around my neck I am dreading, and not being able to see what I am touching,” he admits.

“But I am looking forward to learning new things about myself, and I hope I will learn new leadership and survival skills.

“If I were to stay until the end, it would also show resilience and that I had really pushed myself.”

However, there’s one home comfort that he’s going to miss most.

“I will miss watching football. I will miss the banter with my friends. I am a Manchester United fan and I will be wondering what is going on with United!”

Morgan ‘Angry Ginge’ Burtwhistle

Content creator Morgan – aka AngryGinge – is admittedly less prepared than some of the others in the camp, but he’s ready to take it on.

He said: “The closest I’ve ever done to this is The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, and that didn’t go down well, so I haven’t got the best of confidence coming into this. And the most people I have ever lived with are my mum and sister. “

But I’m looking forward to it all and I know my friends are going to be shocked when they find out it is true I’m going to be on I’m A Celebrity….”

Martin Kemp

Martin Kemp is following in his son Roman’s footsteps in order to take on the jungle – though isn’t sure what he can and can’t face.

“Phobias? I always thought I don’t have phobias but when I think about it, there are certain things that make me feel sick.

WIFE’S AGONY

MADDIE SCAM

I looked into the eyes of Maddie fraudster…Chilling move proved she was a sham

“I am the spider catcher in our house. [Wife] Shirlie won’t go anywhere near them and so I am left to do the business. But I will still get a glass or piece of paper to do it.

“And if anyone says they are ok with heights, they aren’t telling the truth!”
