W&L claims at-large bid, will play Denison at Dickinson in NCAA First Round

INDIANAPOLIS – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship field on Monday morning, and Washington and Lee earned one of 21 at-large bids into the tournament.
 
The Generals (11-4-5) will travel to Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., and play No. 25 Denison (14-2-3) in the first round on Saturday, while the Red Devils (13-0-7) will host North Carolina Wesleyan (9-8-2).
 
Dickinson (Centennial) and N.C. Wesleyan (USA South) both earned automatic qualifications into this year’s national tournament with wins in their respective conference title games over the weekend. The Generals and Big Red were both at-large selections following losses in the ODAC and NCAC championship games, respectively. W&L held the No. 29 ranking in the final NPI of the season, with Denison two spots below.
 
Both first round games will be contested on Saturday, with the two advancing teams then meeting on Sunday with a trip to the Round of 16 on the line. Live stats and live streams for all three games will be provided by Dickinson College.
