Today, Adelaide’s weather will see clouds clearing with a maximum temperature of 19 degrees. The possibility of rain is minimal, at just 10 per cent. Locals can expect southwesterly winds ranging from 20 to 30 km/h, diminishing by the evening.
Wednesday in Adelaide shows an improvement with a sunny day anticipated. Temperatures are set to rise slightly with a maximum of 24 degrees and a minimum of 7 degrees. The likelihood of rain remains low.
On Thursday, conditions are expected to change. The temperature will go between 14 degrees and 24 degrees, but there will be a 70 per cent chance of showers, likely occurring in the morning and the afternoon. These conditions are due to a cloud cover that will gather, with light winds taking a northeasterly direction during the day.
The forecast for South Australia more broadly indicates a complex weather system influenced by a high pressure system and a developing low pressure trough. The latter is set to bring isolated showers and possible thunderstorms from Thursday, moving from the west to the eastern parts of the state. These conditions could be severe in the northwest, bringing with them the potential for heavy rain and damaging winds.
A specific weather advisory has been issued for sheep graziers in several districts, including the Mount Lofty Ranges, Kangaroo Island, Murraylands, Upper South East, and Lower South East. The conditions predicted include cold temperatures, showers, and strong southwesterly winds that could pose a risk to livestock.
