The Buffalo Bills needed some help and they turned to a former nemesis from the Kansas City Chiefs to find it.
The Bills have signed wide receiver and return man Mecole Hardman to their practice squad on Monday, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Hardman spent the summer with the Green Bay Packers but didn’t make their final roster.
He’s best known for his time with the Chiefs, where he was a three-time Super Bowl champion.
Hardman also has a Pro Bowl on his resume as a returner.
Offensively, Hardman is likely mostly viable on gadget plays and not as a full-time wide receiver.

“Just being able to have that experience — I actually have gone to the end game — and having to win it, I think that goes a long way, especially for the younger guys to see that,” Hardman told The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman after he signed with the Packers, delivering a message that could work with a new team, too. “I’m glad I can give that experience to them and let them know what it took and what it’s going to take.”
The Bills are coming off a brutal loss on Sunday to the Miami Dolphins in which their wide receivers were again not good enough. They obviously felt they need some help, and even with Hardman past his prime, it’s worth the chance to see how he might be able to help out.
